MEXETRADA is a project that wants to connect young Portuguese design and craftsmen wisdom. We travalled around Portugal to learn several techniques. In each place we learnt the new technique with the artisan in his/hers workspace. The process in each place was divided in two weeks. The first week is dedicated to learn the technique, in the second week we develop a new product, we designed this object with the technical support of the artisan. Back in Lisbon we start the second stage of this project, which is the production and sale of the objects. Later on we will also have an exposition to show the final products and the documentary directed and produced by NAU productions. For more information you can visit our page on facebook.
